Our Modern Slavery Statement
My Tiny Human is committed to conducting business responsibly and ethically. This includes ensuring that our business operations and supply chains are free from modern slavery and human trafficking. Our Modern Slavery Statement reflects our promise to act ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implement and enforce effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere in our own business or in any of our supply chains.
Organisational Structure
My Tiny Human is a UK-based retailer specialising in providing baby care products directly to consumers through our online platform. We are a growing enterprise, currently operating primarily within the United Kingdom. We employ a small, dedicated team and work with a variety of suppliers to source high-quality products for our customers.
Our Supply Chains
Our supply chains include the procurement of baby care products from both domestic and international suppliers. We are committed to continuously improving our practices to identify and eliminate any exploitative practices in our supply chains.
Policies on Slavery and Human Trafficking
We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business. Our Anti-Slavery Policy reflects our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to safeguard against any form of modern slavery throughout our company.
Due Diligence Processes
As part of our initiative to identify and mitigate risk, we have in place systems to:
- Identify and assess potential risk areas in our supply chains.
- Mitigate the risk of slavery and human trafficking occurring in our supply chains.
- Monitor potential risk areas in our supply chains.
- Protect whistleblowers.
Risk and Compliance
We have identified that our main area of potential risk of modern slavery is through our product supply chains, particularly those sourcing from outside the UK. To ensure all those in our supply chain and contractors comply with our values, we have in place a rigorous compliance check for our suppliers. We expect the same high standards from all of our contractors, suppliers, and other business partners, and as part of our contracting processes, we include specific prohibitions against the use of forced, compulsory, or trafficked labor, or anyone held in slavery or servitude, whether adults or children, and we expect that our suppliers will hold their own suppliers to the same high standards.
Training
To ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains and our business, we provide training to our staff. We also require our business partners to provide training to their staff and suppliers and providers.
Effectiveness in Combating Slavery and Human Trafficking
We use the following key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure how effective we have been to ensure that slavery and human trafficking is not taking place in any part of our business or supply chains:
- Completion of annual audits by external auditors.
- Level of staff training and awareness.
